Black Leopards 2-2 draw through Late Chippa Equaliser

Khuliso Modau opened the scoring for Leopards in the sixth minute with a strike between the legs of United goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi after beating the offside trap.

Leopards’ joy was short-lived, as Andile Mbenyane quickly levelled matters for the Chilli Boys in the tenth minute with a glancing header inside the box, 1-1.

Joel Masutha’s charges were pressurising the home side, looking to restore their lead after half-an-hour but they rushed their moves.

Thabo Rakhale was unlucky not to send the Chilli Boys ahead three minutes before halftime as his wonderful shot from outside the box hit the woodwork.

Mthokozisi Nene had a chance to give the visitors the lead three minutes into the second stanza with a header inside the box but his effort went wide.

The visitors regained the lead eight minutes after the halftime break through Tumelo Khutlang’s finish, following a good attacking spell.

Dan Malesela’s troops struggled to increase their intensity as the half went on, hardly troubling Leopards goalkeeper Adelhbola Aifimi.

However, with the final kick of the game, the Chilli Boys snatched an equaliser in stoppage time through Thatayaone Kgamanyane, who headed home at the near post.
